Worship Focus: How would you describe yourself? Do you think the description of yourself would
be similar to how someone else would describe you? In the end, the opinion that matters is the one
God has of us; and yet, while on this earth, we ought to be aware of what others might think of us,
not for ego purposes but rather to be in a position to give a witness of Jesus. God help us avoid rude
arrogance, along with false humility, through our words and actions; and simply walk humbly with
our God. Enjoy your worship!

Worship Focus: Have you been locked out of your house or vehicle? If so, was it a good feeling?
Most likely it was not. How could have the situation been avoided? People do not need to be locked
out of heaven, but more than a few will be in that position. While we do not bring ourselves to faith,
we can lose it on our own. How important it is to stay keyed into Jesus. Today is another opportunity
to do just that.

We pray you will be strengthened by the good news about God’s grace, love, and forgiveness through Jesus.
Worship Focus: Do you leave the house only half dressed? Well, if you do, perhaps you need to
rethink that habit. As we are not to leave our house half dressed, even more so we are not to leave
our faith half protected. The Lord reminds us of the serious approach we need to take when it comes
to our faith, especially against the forces seeking to destroy it. He provides the full clothing that
makes us ready for offense (witnessing) and defense (not giving ground). God be praised for His
looking out for us.

We pray you will be strengthened by the good news about God’s grace, love, and forgiveness through Jesus.
Worship Focus: Do you like it when the alarm clock comes on? When it comes on, do you hit the
snooze button, or do you get out of bed (even if you are not feeling refreshed)? God has alarms
coming on all around us, and we cannot just hit a snooze button to make them go away; these alarms
are for our good – to keep us awake and alert lest we ‘stay asleep’ and miss out on what God has
prepared for us thanks to Jesus. Today we hear God’s reminder loud and clear, and that is to remain
awake and alert, He even gives us the how to be this.
