Our regular classes are on hold for this week. Pastor Nathan Moldenhauer, our guest preacher from Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS) a WELS preparatory high school in Saginaw, Michigan, will offer a special presentation on the ministry of MLS and the WELS workers training system during today’s Bible study hour in the church sanctuary. Our regular classes will resume next week.

Worship Focus: Last week, we began a three-part sermon series on St. Mark’s mission statement, which is a concise summary of the Church’s mission in the Bible: St. Mark’s congregation exists to [1] glorify God, [2] to grow in grace, and [3] to go with the gospel. Last Sunday, we talked about how we glorify God (worship) as a congregation. Next Sunday, we will discuss how we grow in grace (education) as a body of believers. Today, we will consider the third point in our mission statement, to go with the gospel (evangelism).
